| Baby boy for mother who a had daughter live for only 11 days. |
| It should have been the most wonderful moment of all - cuddling our baby Amelie who was just 11 days old. As my husband Martin, 37, and I held Amelie, we might have looked like any new parents, both looking in wonder at what we had created. But 20 minutes after that picture was taken, we had lost Amelie. She had taken her last breath and had died in our arms. ( speake ) |

| MY 13IB ( 6Kg) BABY DAMAGED MY WOMB SO I CAN'T HAVE ANY MORE CHILDREN. |
| I couldn’t believe what the doctor was telling me ‘Your baby has damaged your womb,’ he said.
I’d just given birth to my son Dale, who’d weighed in at a strapping 13Ibs. It had been a hard labour, but I never imagined that it would have damaged my womb like this. And now he’s three years old - and he wears clothes for a six year old. ( kenyon) |

| Online website as half a million people worldwide watch twins fight for life. |
| I’m sorry but you’re in labour - we can’t stop these babies coming,’ said the doctor.
It couldn’t be true. I was only 25 weeks pregnant with twins - how could they possibly survive being born so early.

I was just selling a few handbags on a market stall. And yet here I was, being taken down to the police station like I was some hardened criminal. ( hetherington) |

| I SENT MY HUSBAND UP TO A HELICOPTER CRASH. |
| WHEN Ron Somers, a qualified pilot, walked into our office at a local flying school, needing a co-pilot to take a helicopter out, I didn’t hesitate.
‘Simon will go with you’, I volunteered. My husband was a qualified commercial helicopter pilot and loved taking to the skies.
Simon agreed to go and leaned over the reception desk, kissed his fingers and pressed them again my forehead.
Little did I know that was the last time I’d see my husband alive. I volunteered for him to go that day, and he never came back. ( gibson ) |
