WHEN Sandra and Terry Kaufman tied the knot, they thought their marriage was for keeps. But just two years later, cracks had started to appear in their marriage and they split up, filing for divorce. They each went on to marry again and lead separate lives - but 50 years later fate threw them into each other’s paths once more. And amazingly - 50 years after they tied the knot the first time around - the couple took the plunge once more and married again for the second time. And their second wedding ceremony took place EXACTLY fifty years later to the MINUTE of their first wedding day.

WHEN Ethan Currill was born, he was so tiny that his parents were able to slip his father’s wedding band over his arm. Tiny Ethan had been born weighing just 1Ib14 and underwent a tremendous battle for survival. He was born at just 24 weeks, suffered a brain haemorrhage and had to have a lifesaving heart operation to close a duct in his heart. WHEN Cheryl Cox’s daughter Natalie weighed a staggering 25 stone at the age of 15, she was blasted for being an irresponsible mum. She helped Natalie tuck into more than 7,500 calories a day as she said that if she didn’t give her daughter the food - she would eat it behind her back. But both Natalie and her mother underwent gastric bypass operations - just three months after Natalie’s 16th birthday - making her the youngest girl in the UK to have such an operation. Now, nearly two years later, the pair have lost a staggering 24 and a half stone between them.

Now the mum of one has managed to shed nearly nine stone - and as a result is much lighter on her feet!

THIS is the miracle little girl whose life has been saved by a COW. When doctors tried to mend little Megan Mills’s heart, it was so small that doctors had to used a vein from a calf to carry out the life saving operation. Megan had been born with a major artery missing from her heart, so her body couldn’t pump blood around to keep her alive. So surgeons had to carefully graft another artery onto her heart - but the plastic ones they usually use in this type of operation were too big for her. So they used a vein from a calf to carry out the risky operation and she has made an amazing recovery, much to the relief of her parents.

AS I cuddle my son William, I can’t believe that this special little bundle is really mine - my own flesh and blood. I went to a fertility clinic to help me give birth to him - not because I had any fertility problems, I hadn’t even tried to have a baby of my own. But I had one thing missing - and that was a partner. I was single, 35, and I wanted a baby of my own. So there was only one thing for it - and that was to use a sperm donor. And when William was born I was absolutely over the moon. He looked just like me, and he was a part of me too.

WHEN a three year old girl drew a drawing of nursery teacher Linda McKnight looking like Mr Blobby she decided that she had to take drastic action. Mrs Mcknight weighed nearly 25 stone and it was whilst she was teaching nursery school pupils that one pupil drew the tell tale drawing. She was so shocked by the three year old girl’s picture - which showed her with a big round blob for a stomach that she has now managed to lose a staggering 13 stone. Mrs McKnight, 34, who lives with husband Gary, 40, near Glasgow, said: ‘When I saw the drawing, I asked the little girl whether she had drawn her mummy. ‘When she no and that her mummy wasn’t fat, she had drawn me instead, I was absolutely shocked and devastated.

I flicked miserably through the rails of clthing at the fancy dress shop. I was desperate to find a good outfit for a mods and rockers that my husband Ray and I had been invited too. But weighing nearly 16 stone was proving to be a stumbling block. I could only find one outfit that was possibly suitable and it was a huge volumous yellow satin skirt with a matching neck tie. It was the only thing in my size, so it would have to do.

The toddler had been left with bright red burns over her face and arms, in the accident which happened just a week before her first birthday. But amazingly, surgeon?s have rebuilt brave Abbie?s face in a series of ten painful and complicated operations - which have included a pioneering technique of gowing her own skin cells and then respraying them back on her face. They have done such an amazing job that Abbie has only been left with a small line of scarring now on her forehead, and she can live a normal life.
