Mrs Dodd was struck down with a rare virus which attacked her brain when baby Charlotte was just eight months old. The day she woke up from her week long coma, Mrs Dodd didn’t even recognise her devastated husband Ian and their daughters Sophie, now seven, and Charlotte, 20 months.
