PARALYSED PEGGING OUT MY PANTS
I smiled as I lugged the basket of washing out into the garden.
It was a perfect day to hang out the washing. I put the basket on the grass as I reached up to peg the first thing on the washing line.
I’d hurt my shoulder and arm a few months before so I’d had to be careful when I was picking up heavy things like the washing basket.
I’d fallen over on the wet kitchen floor. It had been my birthday and we were playing some music. I went into the kitchen humming, and dancing across the kitchen floor, and I hadn’t realised that I’d stepped in a wet patch.
My legs flew out from underneath me, and I landed with a bump on the floor. My arm had hurt at the time and I was a bit bruised all over, but I never had thought that I could have damaged a disc in my neck.
My hubby Craig, 32, came to pick me up off the floor, but it hadn’t got any better. My arm had been getting so numb at times, that I’d have to lift it with my other hand to put my hand in my pocket.
