It has caused Mrs Bullin to go blind before the birth .But becuse tiny Paige decided to make her entrance into the world four weeks prematurely it saved her mother’s life - as doctors said afterwards she would have had just two more weeks to live.

MUM ON A MISSION - AFTER SON IS SEXUALLY ASSAULTED. |
My son Jason had been out late and when he eventually arrived a our front door, covered in leaves and dirt, I shouted at him.
‘What time do you call this, you were supposed to be home hours ago,’ I shouted.
He was only 11 years old and I had been worried about him. But my anger was nothing, until I found out what had really happened to him.
‘Mummy, a man raped me in the woods,’ he stammered. |

I lost ten babies before miracle son. |

She and her husband Naveed had been trying for a family ever since they married in April 1998, but Mrs Javed had never been able to carry any of her babies past three months.
But when she fell pregnant for the 11th time, the baby managed to hang on - until Mrs Javed was 35 weeks pregnant.
She started suffering from the life threatening condition pre-eclampsia and doctors had to carry out an emergency caesarian to save her and her son. ( miscarriage , birth ) |

TWO SUGAR BAG PREMS FOR MUM. |
We must warn you, your baby is going to be very small,’ warned the doctor.
I just burst into tears, I couldn’t believe it was happening to us all over again. All I could hope for was that this little baby would fight as hard as our first daughter Rebecca. (premature ) |

Mum with leukaemia saved by her new born baby. |
I was so looking forward to the birth of my first baby, that I just couldn’t take in what the doctor was saying.
‘I’m terribly sorry, but you have leukaemia,’ he said. It couldn’t be true. I was 26 weeks pregnant and I felt fine. ( transplant , durantes ) |

5 brothers and sisters only one now survives. |
AS these five brothers and sisters smile happily for the camera on a family trip no one could guess the tragedy that was to hit them.
Unbelievably four of the children in this picture are now dead - killed by a undetected heart condition that can cause a loss of consciousness and sudden death. ( griffiths ) |

I asked my twin for his kidney. |
My brother Ian and I had always been close - but it was probably the most difficult question of my life.
‘Can I have one of your kidneys,’ I asked him tentatively, as we were sat in the pub one afternoon with my wife Angela, and Ian’s girlfriend Caroline. ( rowe , transplant ) |

Young mum has to face a 50 % chance of surviving the next five years. |
I have a 50 per cent chance of making it through the next five years. It’s like a death sentence hanging over me and I have to live with it every day. I look at my daughter and wonder if I’ll be around to see her grow up. I’m very careful about her going out in the sun now, and make sure she always wears proper sunscreen and doesn’t get burnt.
I would just want people to learn from reading my story, that the sun is a dangerous thing. ( borrett , skin cancer )

37 years of searching and I found my dad on the other side of the world. |
I couldn’t believe it when I saw an email flashing up on my screen. ‘I believe you’re looking for my husband’ it read. I was shaking with excitement. This was it. An email from half way across the world - thousands of miles away in Argentina. After 37 years I had finally found my dad. ( perrin , lost , dad , father )
